IPEMA has been acting since 1999 in conscience building and qualifying people for the permaculture area, ecovillages and related activities. The cousers are given in a way to estimulated open discussion and brainstorming searching for creative, original and approprieted solutions to social, economical, enviromnental and political problems.

Through Permaculture, IPEMA promote in its actions the peace ethic, citizenship and human rights,democracy, and other important universal values, encouraging the experience, the understanding and knowlege of way to live in harmony with all and with Earth.

• Promote sustainable development and integration of economic, social and enviromental nature;
• Pratice permaculture technology in several system of organic agriculture, CONSORCIO and continous planting of agriculture, architecture, SANEAMENTO and handcraft, serching a diversified production, integrate and promote the exchange between old and new knowledge, respecting the freedom in human relation, the weelfare, the peace, harmony and happiness;
• Enlarge the utilization of this technics in the comunity and region, turning the local comunity into a sample of ecovillage; human settling that strives for sustaintable development with minimun enviromental impact;
• Offer research services, education and qualification in sustainable development;
