Help
I've just downloaded VR Tools and cant work out how to import my Virtual regatta races. I've read all the tutorials I can, is there some idiot instructions telling me how to import winds etc. I have downloaded Ugrib and know how to use it, plus I have downloaded firefox. I am sure you must have covered this before so sorry for asking again

I'm afraid there isn't. Proper vrtool configuration
requires collecting data files from different sources.
First, you must use Firefox as your web browser (at least for playing)

vrtool has a default plug-in that will import data
from Firefox file cache. Read the following tutorial:

http://www.tecepe.com.br/nav/vrtool/offline/tutorialFCI.htm

This works in most cases and will take care of winds and boat tracks.

 You will also need a couple data files, not supplied with vrtool:

* Polar charts - Boat performance data. Each regatta has it's own file.
Download and place the file in vrtool directory ( \{program files}\vrtool\ )
Select it in the regatta options panel.

* Land maps (or vector charts) - There are charts for download
with different levels of detail and adherence to game charts.
No map is loaded by default. You must add one or more vector charts
to your vrtool desktop. Choose Open Vector chart in File menu.
Maps and program options are saved in the desktop file (*.nav)

 A great site for polars and land maps is vrtoutoulz
