Navigator software project started in 92. The first version was for DOS and HP LX palmtop computers, still available for download. In 96 I started this website, after translating the Navigator to English and Windows. In 97, this web site started serving the navigation community with tutorials and calculation services (on line nautical almanac and star finder applications)

Celnav is fun and will bring you closer to Nature and navigation concepts. And than there is the no-strings-attached feeling.

Another common question is "how much conventional celnav one must know to attempt a large passage? At least the meridian passage, which is simple and requires a single table.
