Coordinates Format

Postby Thierry dArgenlieu » Wed Apr 02, 2014 11:28 am

Hi Omar,
Among the several tools used in virtual navigation, Vrtool is the only one ( i think) using the format Degrees.Min.dec (D.M.dec) in map position.
Maybe its a good idea to present in Vrtool a decimal format or/and the format used by Pacotool which is deg.Mn.sec.
The advantage of this is of course not to need a conversion to locate a position from/to another tool.

Thank you - Thierry

I have a celestial navigation background and in celnav you use minutes and tenths.
Seconds of arc are very good ... for astronomers. But I'll see what I can do..
