Error parsing GRIB file

Can not load winds because of
"error:error running degrib"
Have tried various GRIB sources to no avail.

Background:
Was not able to unzip VRTool 2.06, and am running it from inside the zip.
Problem there was "access denied".
Did not have a problem with the Full Install of VRT 2.04, just minutes before and with the same UID.

Have tried:
-- rebooting
-- reinstalling
-- restarting
all software

Will try:
-- clearing cookies
-- checking with MSFT for Windows 7 updates

Given our time difference, [I'm in California] hope you are either up late or up early.

BTW: I am receiving game data for my boat and the boats of my friends.
Glad that is working smoothly now.

TIA for your help,

javakeda

I have version 2.07 and have the same problem: 'error running degrib'...
Have tried everything, including solutions noted above but to no avail...
Anyone have any ideas??
Thanks!
Fab.
