Bug suspicion in writing XML file

Postby reves de gosse » Fri Jan 28, 2011 10:34 pm

Hello Omar
I use your XML wind file for entering the weather forecast in my own Excel route calculator.
Ricoo’s data are on 7 days, but VR data are on 72 hours only.
When VR data exists before entering Ricoo’s ones, your program writes only the data corresponding to 72 hours in the file, and the rest of the forecast is lost.
When only Ricoo’s forecast exists, all the data for the 7 days forecast are written OK. If, then, I enter VR data in VRTool, the XML file is still OK.
Anyway, thanks for what you are doing, it’s splendid.
Hervé

P.S. If you are interested by having a look at my route calculator, no problem, ask me.

Not really a bug. Wind grids are saved separetely.
Select the grid you want to save in the wind grids listbox
and Use the save button.

Grids are mantained in a stack. If two grids intercept
in position/time, the top value is used.

Hello Omar
I am sory, but the only way for me to get more than 72 hours forecast is to delete all forecase in VRTool before getting the Ricoo one's, and then save le forecast in XML.
Don't worry, I will continue to do it this way, it works.
Thanks again.
