Wrong boat in Boat Attitude panel

I used to be able to view the track of my boat. Suddenly I can't. I spent all day trying (I did get a few increments of my track from time to time) but in the end I have missed out on 90 per cent of my track. The Boat Attitude screen comes up repeatedly with another boat - 'Bergamo' (always the same) and my track is not shown. I even get messages saying "Bergamo Skipper, change to Yanke 2" etc.
I have tried deleting Bergamo from both VRTool, and the list of friends in the game. But all that happens is another boat comes up. I shut down for the night, but in the morning Bergamo is back among the listed friends!!!!
I even tried re-installing VRTool, without success.

If it helps, I also from time to time get a message saying "Nome do host invalido"
It seems to come up at all sorts of odd times. However, I can get it on the screen by just going to "Boats" and clicking on one of them.
This is a last ditch attempt to solve the problem before I go back to playing Chess for a pass-time!!!

There are a few fields in the program that are not
currently in use. These are related with direct winds and
boat data downloads, no longer allowed by rules.
Still they remain to puzzle users...

In "Boats" tab there is the "Boat" field. This used
to be the name of your boat. It is still used in the
"wrong sail warning". May be yours got "Bergamo".
Clear the field or write your boat name.

Also in the "Boats" tab use the following settings:
[ ] Auto update (uncheck) <-- No boat data download. Use data from Firefox cache.
[x] Update friends too (check) <-- this also affects the Firefox import

This portuguese message "Nome do host invalido"
means "invalid hostname" . Go to the "Winds" tab,
"Config" panel and check the "Server" field.
It must be either clear or point to vrtoutoulz
winds server URL: www.estceouvert.com/vrtoutoulz/winds
Press [Set].

Thanks Omar for your suggestions. However, I have tried them both, without success.
I eventually deleted all of my "friends" from both VRTool and the game. This, so far, seems to have cured the problem. At least I am now getting my boats tracks on the screen.
I am keeping fingers crossed that they may continue. But I am wondering what will happen if I wish to look at my fiends again.
