Nice work Omar, thanks, it is working allright for me. You almost gave me the will to do it, but I won't be available, so.
Good luck to all those doing it.

There are a few things to watch:
- you must set the time zone (game time-local time)
- the current wind is NOT the ["0"] forecast
as one would expect. Look in the "Other" tab for the Forecast Age
and select the forecast accordingly. The track designer
automaticaly sets the current forecast when you click.

Got it. Thanks Omar
Looks like some Wind Mismatch. Displayed winds are not the actual ones. (Doesn't really matter for the race : 1 Knot "in the face")
I'm afraid I can't give you any clue. BTW, sure you are just sleeping at this time.

[EDIT] Don't know why but winds seem to be OK if "shifted" (Age) 5. Hope this can help.
[EDIT 2] Maybe, the "shift" has to be 3 for the first hour, 4 for the second and 5 for the third.

Winds and forcecasts are updated at 2:00, 5:00, 8:00, 11:00, 14:00, 17:00, 20:00 and 23:00, french time.
So, at 14:00 (soon), you will have to set the wind age at 0, then at 15:00 change it to 1, at 16:00 to 2 then at 17:00 reload all and go back with wind age at 0 and so on.
Beware, updates may be up to about 5 minutes late according to MP.

Thanks, Ricoo. But I checked it twice (and when I say "twice" it's fairly more). I'm sure.
You have to reload wind files at every forecast (every 3h) and in VRTools "age" them with +3 (i.e. 3 for 0, 4 for 1, 5 for 2 and so on).
You're right, the avalaibity on the servers may vary (may be from 58 to 4). It looks like at 00 the boat position refresh is computed with the new winds (even I you don't have them).

So little wind squares and so frequent updates drive you crazy

Hello Ricoo,
Would like to use your map of Lake Léman.
But as an outsider I don't know what "your site" is.
Can you give me an URL please?

If not working, retry later (host not reliable)
If you play on Clipper, have a look to http://www.estceouvert.com/PACOTOOL/ (not suitable for Bol d'Or) you'll find it usefull. ;)

Thanks OldChapZ for the answer. ;)
And sorry to those not knowing me and my site. :D
Since I post quite a lot on VR's forum and that my sites addresses are in my signature there, I thought it was not necessary to recall it. :?
I haded the information to my signature in this forum too, so now, you won't lose it.

I'll also put a new version of this map, before next leg. So take a look before next Thursday. [done ;)]

I posted version 1.92c for download (vrtool.zip).
Weather routing is back. Now you can set isochrone interval
smaller than 1h. I'm using the following config for
Lake Leman regatta:

Isochrone interval=0.05
Up to isochrone=24
# of branches=11
angle to destination=60
wake angle=30
[x]Auto prune
[ ]Add branches at isochrones (false)

Previous min 1h isochrone interval was too big and made the
route tree explode. Using small interval allows for the tree to be
optimized frequently, maintaining a manageable size.

Isochrone interval input format is in hours:
p.e. '0.1' (for 6 min. Use dot as decimal separator)
